Printable Jigsaw Sudoku

A Jigsaw Sudoku, also called irregular Sudoku, is a 9×9 Sudoku whose nine 3×3 boxes are replaced by nine odd shapes of nine squares each. Every sheet here has shapes of its own. Print one sheet or ten; each puzzle's answer comes on the page after it.

Quick answer

Every puzzle here has exactly one answer and can be solved without guessing. Easy puzzles need only naked singles: a square where just one number is left. Medium puzzles also need hidden singles: a number that has only one place left in a row, column or shape.

All Jigsaw sheets

200 sheets, one puzzle each: Easy from sheet 1, Medium from sheet 101.

Easy: Every step is a square where only one number is left.

Tips for a Jigsaw Sudoku

  • Go over the bold outlines once before you start: where a shape bends, it is easy to read a square as part of the shape next to it.
  • Rows and columns work as in any Sudoku and run the full width and height of the grid, through every shape they cross.
  • A shape with only one or two empty squares left is the quickest place to find the next number.
